Lentils Largely Unchanged
PANAMA - Nov 15/24 - SNS -- International lentil markets were little changed in seasonal trading activity and continuing doubts about average red lentil yields in Australia.
Harvest activity is now being reported in that country, helping processors and exporters assess the impacts of weather problems reported since ABARES September forecast.
Most market participants expect Australia's December 3 data to show a reduction in the overall size of the harvest. By contrast, little change is expected in the size of Canada's harvest when its final production estimate is released on December 5.
