Exporters Relax As Movement Resumes

PANAMA - Nov 15/24 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean shippers finished the week on a positive note because of the Canadian government's decision to end work stoppages at containers terminals in Montreal and Vancouver.

Combined with an improved picture of this season's fundamental supply situation in both the United States and Canada because of the completion of the harvest, the U.S. dry edible bean price index gained 0.8 points to finish the week at 94.4.

Similarly, the spot global rice index inched 0.4 points higher on the week to close at 105.7, while the Canadian pulse price indices gained 0.2 points to finish at 95.2.
