Italy's Field Pea Imports Post Strong Result
PANAMA - Nov 18/24 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year recorded a stronger performance, with field pea imports by Italy posted solid advances, moving upward compared to the previous month in September, according to trade data from Eurostat.
Imports during the month totalled 14,182 metric tons (MT), up from 10,268 MT the prior month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 92,325, down 28% last year.
Current trade statistics revealed Ukraine was top export origin, shipping 13,989 MT during the month. United Arab Emirates was the second most important exporter shipping 104 MT, followed by Moldova at 66 MT.
