Spain's Field Pea Imports Continue Weak Tendency
PANAMA - Nov 18/24 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas in September shrank versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports during the month reached 1,229 metric tons (MT), down from 5,014 MT the prior month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 95,111, down 78% last year.
France was the most important export origin during the month, shipping 1,121 MT. Argentina was the second most important origin selling 70 MT, followed by Canada at 21 MT.
