Argentina's Kidney Bean Exports Record Strong Oucome
PANAMA - Nov 20/24 - SNS -- Argentina's movement of kidney beans in September made modest gains, rising versus the previous month, according to data from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos.
Exports for the month reached 35,349 metric tons (MT), up from 33,496 MT the previous month. This lifted export sales so far during the calendar year to 145,211, down 37% last year.
Cuba was the top importer, taking 10,213 MT. Spain was the second most important importer buying 4,234 MT, followed by Mexico at 4,012 MT.
