PANAMA - Nov 29/24 - SNS -- International field pea markets closed out the week's trading on a moderately firmer note against relatively strong ongoing movement of product into export markets.
The fact yellow pea imports can continue to enter India duty free as long as on board bills of lading are dated on or before December 31 has contributed to strong movement from countries such as Russia and Canada.
Hopeful musings that India will extend the duty free period beyond December 31 continue to be heard.
