Chickpeas Generally Firm
PANAMA - Nov 29/24 - SNS -- International export markets maintained a generally firm tone during the past week for larger caliber kabuli and desi chickpeas.
Large caliber kabuli markets continue to be influenced by limited old crop supplies from Mexico and India.
Medium caliber kabuli chickpea markets remain uncertain about production prospects in India given the slower start to planting this year's rabi season crops in some key growing areas.
