Dry Beans Modestly Firmer

PANAMA - Nov 29/24 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were unchanged to modestly firmer in seasonal trading activity during the past week.

The U.S. dry edible bean price index rose 1.8 points on the week to finish at 96.4, partly due to defensive pricing as markets in the country transition into the December holiday season.

Similarly, the spot global price index rose 0.7 points during the week to close at 106.9, while the Canadian pulse price indices inched 0.3 points upward to finish at 95.8.
