PANAMA - Dec 5/24 - SNS -- Australia's movement of lentilss in October fell sharply compared to the previous month, according to data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Total movement during the month amounted to 29,888 metric tons (MT), down 66% from the previous month's total of 88,507. So far exports have reached 1,411,304 MT, down from 1,799,171 in the same period the last marketing year.
Recent trade statistics reported India was biggest importer, taking 10,952 MT in the month. Sri Lanka was the second most important importer receiving 7,615 MT, followed by Bangladesh at 4,943 MT.
