Argentina's Kidney Bean Exports Maintain Weak Tone
PANAMA - Dec 11/24 - SNS -- Argentina's exports of kidney beans in October shrank compared to the previous month, according to data from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos.
Export sales for the month totalled 13,863 metric tons (MT), down from 35,945 MT the previous month. This lifted shipments so far during the calendar year to 159,670, down 41% last year.
In the month, Spain was the largest buyer, taking 3,204 MT. Brazil was the second most important importer buying 2,232 MT, followed by Italy at 2,048 MT.
