Birdseeds Hold Steady
PANAMA - Dec 13/24 - SNS - Birdseed ingredient markets maintained their steady tone through the past week in seasonal trading activity.
Market participants seem generally preoccupied with the execution of existing contracts, while growers appear to have adopted a wait and see attitude.
Markets are now looking forward to the USDA's final production estimates for 2024. Due on January 10, the report will contain production data for oil and confection sunflower, millet, safflower and other minor oilseeds.
