Field Pea Exports From France Extend Soft Trend
PANAMA - Dec 17/24 - SNS -- Exports of field peas from France fell sharply versus the previous month in October, available data from Eurostat reports.
Movement totalled 574 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 93% from the 7,961 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 134,518 MT, versus 145,259 in the same period the last calendar year.
In the month, Switzerland was the number one consumer, receiving 559 MT. United Kingdom was the second most important buyer buying 14 MT, followed by New Caledonia at 0 MT.
