Field Pea Imports By Spain Reveal Improved Performance
PANAMA - Dec 17/24 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas in October leapt versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports reached 11,439 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 80% from the 6,356 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 115,814 MT, versus 556,125 during the previous calendar year.
During the month, Estonia was the most important supplier, selling 5,494 MT. Lithuania was the second most important supplier selling 4,949 MT, followed by France at 907 MT.
