Italy's Field Pea Imports Maintain Weak Trend
PANAMA - Dec 17/24 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year maintained their weaker trend, with field pea imports by Italy eased relative to the previous month in October, according to data from Eurostat.
Total imports throughout the month amounted to 13,848 metric tons (MT), down 9% from the previous month's total of 15,267. So far imports have totalled 107,258 MT, down from 150,494 during the last calendar year.
During the month, Ukraine was the number one export origin, shipping 12,864 MT. Argentina was the second most important exporter selling 624 MT, followed by Canada at 288 MT.
