China's Sunflower Seed Exports Sustain Strong Performance
PANAMA - Dec 31/24 - SNS -- China's exports of sunflower seeds during October posted significant gains, moving upward versus the previous month, judging from data from General Customs Administration of China.
Total export sales throughout the month reached 36,444 metric tons (MT), up 34% from the previous month's total of 27,242. So far shipments have totalled 363,734 MT, up from 311,151 in the same period the last calendar year.
Iraq was the largest buyer for the month, buying 5,082 MT. Russia was the second most important destination receiving 4,403 MT, followed by Iran at 4,378 MT.
