China's Sunflower Seed Imports Record Strong Performance
PANAMA - Dec 31/24 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year recorded a better performance, with sunflower seed imports by China rocketed relative to the previous month in October, judging from the latest data from General Customs Administration of China.
Imports during the month totalled 12,494 metric tons (MT), up from 6,103 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 122,750, down 45% last year.
Recent movement statistics revealed Bulgaria was number one shipper, selling 7,200 MT for the month. Russia was the second most important exporter supplying 3,326 MT, followed by Kazakhstan at 1,968 MT.
