Field Pea Imports By China Record Better Performance
PANAMA - Dec 31/24 - SNS -- China's imports of field peas in October were up sharply, leaping compared to the previous month, judging from data from General Customs Administration of China.
Imports for the month reached 244,532 metric tons (MT), up from 77,678 MT the prior month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 1,083,511, down 40% last year.
Canada was the most important exporter for the month, supplying 155,624 MT. Russia was the second most important exporter shipping 72,703 MT, followed by Kazakhstan at 7,637 MT.
