PANAMA - Dec 31/24 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year are maintaining a stronger performance, with mung bean imports by China made modest gains, rising compared to the previous month in October, judging from official trade data from General Customs Administration of China.
Total imports throughout the month amounted to 33,031 metric tons (MT), up 9% from the previous month's total of 30,336. So far imports have reached 499,449 MT, up from 488,287 during the previous calendar year.
In the month, Indonesia was the most important shipper, shipping 11,385 MT. Ethiopia was the second most important origin selling 7,245 MT, followed by Australia at 6,882 MT.
