Chickpeas Start 2025 Quietly
PANAMA - Jan 3/25 - SNS -- International chickpea markets are entering the 2025 calendar year on a relatively quiet note.
Spot export markets for desi chickpeas continue to be influenced by the availability of new crop product from Australia.
Kabuli types, on the other hand, continue to be influenced by tight inventories of large caliber product in net exporting countries.
