Birdseeds Close 2024 Quietly
PANAMA - Jan 3/25 - SNS - Birdseed ingredient markets were nominally unchanged during the last half of December.
Processors and exporters were focussed on meeting end of month shipping commitments, while prospective buyers in Mexico and other destinations were in holiday mode.
Markets are moderately interested in the contents of the final U.S. production estimates for 2024. Due on January 10, the report will include estimates for white proso millet, safflower, and both oil and confection sunflower.
