Field Pea Exports From Canada Reveal Slow Performance
PANAMA - Jan 7/25 - SNS -- So far during this marketing year recorded a weaker month, with field pea movement from Canada sank compared to the previous month in November, judging from the most recent data from Statistics Canada.
Shipments during the month reached 200,836 metric tons (MT), down from 437,635 MT the prior month. This lifted movement so far during the marketing year to 1,266,530, up 29% last year.
India was the biggest consumer, taking 77,637 MT. China was the second most important consumer taking 38,540 MT, followed by Bangladesh at 25,613 MT.
