Australia's Lentils Exports Post Improved Result
PANAMA - Jan 9/25 - SNS -- Movement of lentilss for Australia leapt compared to the previous month in November, data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reports.
Total movement during the month amounted to 49,041 metric tons (MT), up 88% from the previous month's total of 26,082. So far export sales have amounted to 49,041 MT, down from 119,009 during the last marketing year.
The top buyer during the month was Bangladesh, receiving 29,085 MT. Sri Lanka was the second most important consumer receiving 9,981 MT, followed by India at 8,277 MT.
