PANAMA - Jan 10/25 - SNS -- Mustard seed finished the week's trading with a moderately firmer undertone, helped by the realization production in the United States will have a limited impact on import demand.
Production in the United States was pegged at almost 46,300 metric tons (MT) from 185,000 acres, down from 67,200 MT from 245,000 acres in 2023.
Ending stocks in the U.S. from its 2023-24 marketing year were pegged at roughly 3,300 MT by the USDA in its first official estimate since 2018.
