Field Pea Imports By China Extend Soft Trend
PANAMA - Jan 13/25 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for China eased compared to the previous month in November, the latest data from General Customs Administration of China shows.
Total imports for the month reached 206,929 metric tons (MT), down 15% from the previous month's total of 244,532. So far imports have reached 1,290,440 MT, down from 2,146,745 during the previous calendar year.
Recent trade statistics showed Canada was top supplier, supplying 117,086 MT in the month. Russia was the second most important export origin shipping 77,837 MT, followed by United States at 9,643 MT.
