Field Pea Imports By Italy Continue Easy Tone
PANAMA - Jan 16/25 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for Italy shrank compared to the previous month in November, recent data from Eurostat reports.
Imports for the month totalled 563 metric tons (MT), down from 20,223 MT the prior month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 114,196, down 39% last year.
Canada was the number one export origin for the month, selling 357 MT. Ukraine was the second most important supplier selling 158 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 24 MT.
