France's Field Pea Exports Continue Weak Tendency
PANAMA - Jan 16/25 - SNS -- France's shipments of field peas during November posted significant declines, slumping compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Movement for the month totalled 5,615 metric tons (MT), down from 8,024 MT the prior month. This boosted export sales so far during the calendar year to 147,583, down 25% last year.
Current movement statistics showed China was biggest consumer, receiving 4,130 MT in the month. Switzerland was the second most important buyer taking 1,403 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 71 MT.
