PANAMA - Jan 17/25 - SNS -- Global dry edible bean markets registered a mixed performance on the week, with easing in some markets partly offset by modest firmness in the United States.
This was reflected in the U.S. dry edible bean price index which managed a 1.3 point gain on the week to close at 100.3. This continued the upward trend in place since the middle of September.
By contrast, the spot global price index eased 0.1 points during the week to close at 109.3, while the Canadian pulse price indices slipped 0.7 points higher to finish at 95.
