PANAMA - Jan 20/25 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Turkey were slightly lower, falling versus the previous month in November, official trade data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) reveals.
Imports for the month reached 30,668 metric tons (MT), down from 37,180 MT the prior month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 291,691, down 14% last year.
The number one export origin for the month was Russia, supplying 29,971 MT. United States was the second most important shipper selling 274 MT, followed by Germany at 263 MT.
